Two Years Today -Open-

It had been two years. Two years since the World War III aswell as the war of the two realms. It was a hot sunny day in Eurai City as most days were. Most of the big buildings were covered by some thin sheet as mostly animals and magic creatures lived in them. The houses that were occupied with humans were made of plywood and looked like they could break easily, it was either a home like that or a tent. As the sun gazed down on the torn apart city, there was a little creaking noise and the tapping of metal on the uneven concrete. The creaking noise was made by Haylee swinging back on a chair and tapping her sniper on the ground whenever she was about to fall back too far. She had a pair of reflective aviators on as she just looked straight ahead with a straight look on her face. She was holding a can of some energy drink in her free hand as she looked around. It seemed as though she was the only one out at mid-day today in this part of the city. The girl had her two guns attatched to one of her belts that was around her waist. The place seemed a bit stuffy from the sun but Haylee was use to it.

Walking, or rather dancing past at the same time, was a girl bearing bright red hair, a belt of kunai around her waist. She was humming loudly to herself, and swaying side to side as she walked past, hair flicking up in the wind as she went. She looked at the buildings and tents with pity, why didn't they just move to another city? They'd probably get attacked if they did. She thought, as she continued to prance along the empty street. After continuing to dance down the street, she heard a creaking noise, and turned to see a girl holding an energy drink and a sniper rifle. Although that didn't phase her, everyone had guns these days.

"Hello. I'm Jinx."

She said, approaching the girl. She smiled and sat down next to her on the ground, her face red from the heat and all the dancing. Taking out one of her kunai, she flicked it in the air and fiddled with it through her fingers, her eyes never looking away from its tip.

"Quite a hot day isn't it? What's your name, by the way?"

She smiled and laid back, her red hair all over the ground. She continued to play with the throwing knife, but now she didn't watch it, she was confident. After a few more seconds lying down she sighed, sitting back up and asking.

"You wouldn't happen to have another drink would you? I'm rather thirsty."

Haylee heard the tapping noise of someones footsteps. The girl lowered her sunglasses to have a look to have the owner of those footsteps approach her. As always, Haylee kept a straight face with a small smile. As the girl sat down next to her the girl kept on swinging on her chair and playing with her sniper rifle. It didn't bother Haylee that someone else was in this part of town with her. A small sweat drop slid down the side of Haylee's face. The heat was something she was use to but this was a much more hotter day than normal.

"Yes it is quite a hot day today, hotter than normal actually,"

She said in her usual nicely toned voice. Her voice wasn't igh pitched nor low.

"I'm Haylee and sure, I think I have a few more"

She said as she swung back a little further grabbing a can of the drink and then swinging back to give it to Jinx. The can had drops of water all around it, there was some scientific explanation to this but sadly the person typing this doesnt know what it is.

Jinx took the drink and smiled and took the drink and opened it, drinking half in one go. She was thirstier than she thought. After a few seconds of continuous drinking she spoke again to Haylee.

"That's a nice name."

She couldn't really think of what to say. She was a tad bored so she took out a sketchbook and began to draw the town, noting all the people and monsters peering out the windows. She smiled as she drew, she loved to draw, it was one of her favourite things to do. That and fight, she loved fighting, but not the after effects.

Haylee heard the nice sound of the can opening. There was little flick of it opening then the small sound of the fizz that the drink made. Haylee stayed quiet for a moment and watched as a mouse scattered across the floor a few metres away from the two. Haylee listened closely for the rat's movements for when it was going to scatter across again. She looked down at Jinx and gave her a small smile before pulling a chair out for her to sit on. Sitting on the floor was nasty in this city.

"Here, have a seat. There's some nasty crap on the city's floors."

She said as the seat flipped open and stood up. Just after that Haylee heard the sound of the rat squeak, it was about to come out again. Haylee held her sniper fowards then pointed it in the place where the rat was going to run into. With her eye almost touching the eye-piece, the rat then ran out again. With a pull of the trigger the rat was shot back and died.

"I hate rats.."

"Oh thankyou."

She said, putting away her sketchbook and watching as the rat fell dead. She smiled and sat again in silence, the scene growing awkward. She sighed and looked down at her kunai, before turning to Haylee.

"How would you like a little spar? You know, for when the war comes back?"

No one knew for certain ther would be another war, but Jinx had a feeling, and her feeling were usually right.

As the awkward silence broke Haylee smiled as she heard Jinx mention a spar. Haylee stood up and leaned her sniper against the chair she was sitting on. She took her sunglasses off and squinted a bit from the blindening light. She placed her glasses on the chair and took a few steps away from the tent she resided in.

"Sure, you never know if there'll be a war or not."

She said as she placed her hands on the handles of her guns and flicked her hair back. She had the idea that a war was going to break out soon so practice with battle should help.

Jinx smiled, her signature your gonna die smile, although she wasn't going to kill Haylee... yet. After a few seconds she held her kunai at her sides, and after a few more seconds three exact copies of her appeared at her sides.

"Swarm, my friends. Swarm."

They all hovered into the air, and encircled the enemy, Haylee. All three threw there kunai at ehr in perfect unison, six at once... one was bound to hit right? After they had thrown the kunai, they all smiled in unison. Within a second they were all holding black balls of ink in their rights hands, which they all threw at Haylee at the same time. One aimed for head, the other the torso and the third the feet.

"Having fun yet?"

Jinx said, standing on the sidelines as her clones fought, although, the would soon dissapear.

As Jinx gave her one of the most delighful smiles Haylee had ever seen, she smiled back. The clones surrounded her with their kunai ready to throw at her. Haylee had an idea that this might happen as soon as she saw the clones be made. The girl quickly pulled out her guns and shot at the clones, they didnt do much. So, as the kunai was thrown at the girl she quickly shot at four of the kunai, htting them out of aim. As for the two left, one just went past the girls arm breaking a bit off the girls skin off as she knocked the kunai off with her gun. With the little graze on her arm she stayed cool and calm. Th girl then looked up to see ink balls being thrown at her.

"Oh hell no.."

She said thinking of how dirty her clothes would get if she were hit by the ink. The only flaw to this was if Haylee dodged them all they could possibly hit a different clone. So Haylee quickly jumped away from the spot she was in and landed outside of where the clones were suppose to be surrounding her. She looked over to Jinx as her eyes sharpened.

"Loads o' fun"

She said with a smile as she held one gun to the side spinning it around her finger as the other gun was pointed at Jinx. Haylee pulled the trigger three times with bullets releasing themselves from the gun towards Jinx.

"Well things just got interesting."

After a few seconds the clones vanished, the playing field was now even. Side-stepping to avoid two of the three bullets, Jinx took on the edge of her arm, blood slowly dripping out. She sighed and quickly held three dagger between each of her fingers, charging at Haylee with an evil glint in her eye. As she got closer she swiped down with her right hand, before slashing across with her left, she was effectively using the kunai as claes.

After the assault Jinx jumped back, flung two more knives at Haylee and replaced them with two more from her belt.

"Let's go."

As Jinx came running towards Haylee she still had her gun pointed at Jinx, with a slow pull of the trigger all Haylee got was a click, she pulled the trigger again and it clicked, the revolver needed more bullets obviously. As Jinx slashed at Haylee the blonde stepped back, dodging the knives. With the last slash Jinx threw at Haylee a tear through Haylee's singlet could be heard. Two of the kunai were close enough to leave scratches upon the girl's stomach with blood oozing out slowly from the cuts but her blood appeared to be thinner than normal human blood.

As Jinx jumped back, Haylee quickly reloaded her guns so the barrel was full. Now that Jinx was in the air Haylee was just going to go trigger happy. Before she started to pull the triggers she aimed carefully at Jinx and dashed to the side, dodging the kunai and pulling the triggers at the same time. Ten bullets came from each revolver and headed towards Jinx, each on aimed and different parts of her body which was interesting.

"Now there's an interesting part."

With a small grin Haylee then twirled the guns around her fingers as if they were toys. She placed one gun back in it's case on her best and reloaded the one gun she was holding then just recklessly putting bullets in the other gun.
