Description: Drakes are small dragons, with an infant being the size of a large dog - such as a german shepherd - with a fully grown adult reaching about four meters tall, with a wingspan of around forty-five feet in length. Kithar is a dark blue drake whose scales seem to glimmer purple when hit by light, or blend to darkness in it's absence. His eyes are a startling emerald green which shine with an inner intelligence. He has a silver marking on his chest and his claws are darkest black, like blackened steel. He allows Angelus to ride him out of friendship, not servitude, he is a noble and powerful being, respected and free to go where he pleases, he is proud and dangerous, yet kind and caring, he will harm no innocent and shares council with Angelus on many important things as his friend respects his opinion mightily

Attacks: Kithar can breathe a stream of burning flames for a solid forty five seconds, or can let our ten fireballs - reaching temperatures of up to nine hundred and fifty degrees if the stream is continually focused on the one spot or two hundred degrees on impact, causing a small explosion as well . This breath weapon takes another minute and a half to recharge when fully used up.

Kithar can also turn into a human form for up to an hour each time, this can only be used once a day but allows him to take on a clothed persona while still being able to access his innate abilities, such as retractable claws and breath weaponry.

Kithar is highly skilled in close combat fighting, in both human and natural forms, he has trained in sword and hand to hand combat.

History: Kithar was found by Angelus in the mountains near the mansion he was calling home in the other world, he was an infant at the time, new born and weak from the cold, his mother had died, killed by nearby farmers who didn't know better, she had been pierced through the wing with a pitchfork, and crashed into a tree. Angelus raised Kithar, with the help of other Drakes he contacted, within ten years he was fully grown, had reached his maturity and was ready to train properly, so Angelus escorted him to a school for Drakes, run by the Drake master, the most trusted advisor of the Drake Lord. It was found that Kithar, under the tutelage of Angelus, was already an advanced student and he soon grew to become the most promising Drake warrior the world had seen in a long time, he was offered the place of Drake Lord and took the chance, eager to make the world a better place and seeing this as a way he could accomplish that goal. He moved the hatchery to a series of chambers underneath Angelus mansion, confident that his friend was the most able person to protect it.

Then the day came he had been long awaiting, on the eve of his twenty first birthday, he had decided to chose a companion, a friend of another species as every Lord of the Drakes had had since the beginning of the system, he decided that this should be his most trusted friend, Angelus, the eldest vampire and most skilled individual he knew. He underwent a bonding ritual, meaning that they both gained a mark on their chest over their heart. This mark would allow either to summon their partner at any time, however the ritual itself would require a sacrifice, this meant that both had to give period a memory to the other, a memory very precious to them that they would only ever be able to see again through the bond they shared, they both had to give a year of their life.
